Christmas gift for a guy?

Wanting to do a gift basket for a guy, but not sure what to use as the basket? I was planning to gather up a few of his favorite things . . . gift cards, candy, snacks, favorite team. But what would I put it in?

I think a basket would be too girly. He works many hours, so dosent have time for a hobbie. I'm just stuck on this idea. Please help!

Hmmm . . . a basket might not be too girly, if it would go with his decor. You could put the stuff in something else if you don't think that would work. Maybe inside of one of those plastic things that are used for storage or something, if you can't think of anything else. My advice: Use a rectangular basket without a handle over it; those can be used almost anywhere in the house to hold other random stuff. A wooden box might do too. I think they sell all this stuff at craft stores. Also, I see someone mentioned a backpack. If you have enough stuff to start to fill a backpack, that would be an excellent idea. Good luck!
Reply:Container: A little laundry basket, or storage box. Practical and inexpensive. A tin or Christmas box works too,



Stuffing: Choose all kinds of fav's to put in it...Movie, blanket (throw type), CD, hot coco mix, popcorn, hot cider mix, and so on.

Reply:well if he has a job where he does paper work or something get it a tray thingy so he can use it to organise.. work with what you know about him.
Reply:I did this once for a birthday present...I put the stuff in a backpack. You could also try a new briefcase or a duffel bag maybe. Something he could use.
Reply:I think you have a really good idea here. You don't need to use an actual basket though. I can't think of anything *and its right on the tip of my tongue what I want to say...grr* that would work better.

You could put it in a stocking, a colorful/sports team trash can, or decorate a box. Its all about creativity.
