Help! I have a christmas budget of less than $100 and 10 people to give gifts to.
Not a rich person, in the past I did chili kits (in cool cooking pots), buried treasure plants (the plants were decorated and gift cards were buried in the pot, was cool) and last year just little gift baskets from the theme park I worked at. I am out of ideas.
Here is my list of folks (just so you see who is who)...
My in-laws -They have literally everything and this year especially helped financially a lot. PS they hate 'crafts'
My mom -She has had a rough year and first holiday with an empty nest.
My sister -Her family includes her husband and three small boys (4,6,9) . Honestly, this has probably been the worst year ever for them. I usually give them a gift all together.
Little brother #1- He is set and has little use for the usual types of gifts (colgne, shavers, small checks or gift cards).
Little brother #2- He moved out of the house this year, want to give him something cool
Christmas gift ideas, homemade and otherwise special...?
For the in-laws: Some candle thing. ($15)
Mom: Picture album of the family or nice framed pics of family ($15)
Sister and Brother-in-law: Gift card
Nephews: A beta fish along with a small tank and plant ($15)
Little brother #1: iTunes credit
Little brother #2: Set of wine glasses

They have great gifts for the entire family and all of their items are inexpensive!
Reply:Gift basket filled with dollar store treats or homeade treats topped off with an ornament works well and is inexpensive for the adults.
If you've got a good photo of you and your siblings do a photo ornament for mom and let remind her she will always be part of you life.
for sister. I'll bet a gift for the boys would mean the most to her. Boys that age love and can share hot wheels and a track.
good luck
Reply:A favorite of my family's is homemade spicy pretzels....I have delivered these throughout the neigborhood with a six pack of a seasonal microbrew, and a cute bottle opener. The recipe is below:
INGREDIENTS
* 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
* 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
* 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
* 1 (1 ounce) package dry Ranch-style dressing mix
* 3/4 cup vegetable oil
* 1 1/2 (15 ounce) packages mini pretzels
DIRECTIONS
1. In a small bowl, mix together cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, garlic salt, ranch-style dressing mix and vegetable oil.
2. Place pretzels in a large, sealable plastic bag. Pour in mixture from bowl. Shake well. Allow pretzels to marinate in the mixture approximately 2 hours before serving. Shake occasionally to maintain coating.
