I have a 50 year old friend that’s about to be off work for a few months due to surgery. My coworkers and I would like to make a “off work survival basket” for her. I need help thinking of fun stuff to put in it. So far we have come up with a book, tea, a bell, activity books, hand held games, snack food, candy, nail polish. Any ideas??
Gift basket ideas for ill friend?
Looks like you have pretty much covered all the gift basket essentials.
Reply:A gift certificate for fast food that delivers,,,,OH YEH !!!
Reply:i would put pj and a nice photo of all friends
Reply:Depending on her surgery, give her a new hobby. Quilting. Cross Stitch. Knitting.
Reply:A gift certificate to a cleaning service to help her with things in the home that she may not be able to handle for a while.
Reply:sounds like you already have really great ideas try some pampering stuff like the nail polish is good try something for her face, feet and stuff that would make her feel sexy so that when shes done with her leave she can be ready to go out again, some great movies and maybe you guys can make like little cupons that would say like dinner with all of us and one free grocery shopping trip, little stuff that could help her while she is recovering from surgery, that would be thoughtfull and im sure a big help :) good luck
Reply:How about gift certificates? to a spa when she feels better, or to Wal-Mart cause Lord knows everything she needs will be in there. how about a nice pair of slippers? A heating pad for soothing pains? The possiblities are endless. Hope this helps!
Reply:Fruits, olive oil, omega 3, a good book (I suggest Cloud Atlas), a movie she likes...
Reply:Balloons with printed get well soon and a streamer or big cards!big teddy bear will be good too for her to hug and always remember your thoughtfullness!Or ask her favorite stuffs from her family!
Reply:Collect money from everybody and give her a cashiers check for the full amount.
Reply:a good bottle of jack daniels and sone fruit.
Reply:My son recieved a very nice gift basket when he broke his elbow. One of his favorite things was a gift card for the video store. He could always "escape" the realities of his injury by getting caught up in a good movie.
Reply:Batteries for the television remote control!
Reply:I would say crossword puzzle books, snacks, a nice quilt to cover up with
Reply:Put freeze pops (the kind in plastics), cough drops, cough syrup, candy, magazines, and a univeral remote!
