Got any ideas for a bridal shower gift?

Any ideas where you add a cute poem along with the gifts you put in a themed gift basket?

All ideas welcome!!!!

Got any ideas for a bridal shower gift?
I did this for a friend at work:

a breakfast in bed basket

heart shaped pancake rings

Bottle of fancy maple syrup

Gourmet Pancake mix

Griddle pan off their registry

bed trays

(you can even include a bud vase and juice glasses, anything you can imagine for a perfect breakfast in bed)

If you include the larger items, it may be hard to fit in a basket.
Reply:The couple should have registered. Ask where they registered and go there. Then type in or tell the service agent the brides name and wedding date and the registry should come up telling you what has been bought and what has not and the aisle and price range. If they did not register I would recomend getting them a Bed Bath and Beyond gift certificate. Its a very popular place to register and they will defintely use it. Target is great as well. Many couples register to get what they want and it takes the guess work out for the guest.

Type the poem up on a blank card or write it if you have nice handwriting. Hole punch it a the top of the fold and tie it to the basket with a pretty ribbon in the bride's wedding colors.
Reply:My 2 favorite bridal shower gifts are a selection of board games for the couple, or an electric drill.
Reply:If your bride has her gown or other items on lay-away or on a payment plan at a wedding store, get her a gift certificate for that store so she can use it toward her gown or many of the other items she will need to buy. It is the best thing anyone could give her. It is also a great idea for all of her bridesmaids to get together and get her one huge gift certificate. A huge gift certificate for a furniture store from everyone together is a great idea because so many brides today already have enough trinkets and candles and knick -knacks, etc., but are often at a stage in life where they want to start replacing their crummy college-era furniture with nicer things.
Reply:put a electic knife for easy cooking and potholders, GIFT CARDS, protection(u know),pans, cups, small pots, check out thier registry at stores if they have one. how about wine glasses they can use them every year on anniversary. (even if dont drink they can put other things in them.) a card for dinner to at nice restuant.
