Reply:Here are some small and/or inexpensive things that would be great in a gift basket:

Sleepers - in different sizes

Onesies - undershirts that snap at crotch - lots of these

baby facecloths

receiving blankets - I used a lot of these

diapers

socks

baby lotion - I liked Aveeno

crib sheets

diaper rash cream - something with Zinc Oxide

a mild baby wash/shampoo

find out if she plans to nurse or bottlefeed - if she is going to bottlefeed, find out what kind of bottles/nipples she wants to use and get some of those. If she will be nursing, she will need nursing pads, nipple cream like Lansinoh, etc.

Good for you for thinking of this! This is a great gift!!
Reply:Most likely your friend will need to deal with her newborn twins crying in stereo, especially if they have colic or are just fussy. An ideal gift would be including baby white noise CDs in the gift basket. They are relatively inexpensive, and you can buy a variety of household sounds (such as an electric fan, vacuum cleaner, car ride, etc.) and music with white noise (lullabies and nursery rhymes). They'll be very much appreciated for a long time.
Reply:newborn diapers (huggies/pampers) wipes, burp clothes, socks and onesis (white or green in color since you do't the sex), pacifers, baby book (so she can take with her on delivery and get their foot prints placedin the book) hooded bath towels, wash clothes baby shampoo/lotion, baby powder with corn stratch (helps absob the moisture), swing, rocking chair, car seat, stoller etc. the list can go on and on.

Congrat's to her.
Reply:She will be needing a lot of diapers (pampers), a lot of little undershirts, receiving blankets, sleepers, baby lotion and oil, Q-tips and cotton-balls, feeding bottles, crib sheets, more baby blankets, and bibs. These are the basics. What a nice friend you are. Get other friends to contribute as this will add up very quickly. She is lucky to have you as a friend. Best of luck to you and your friend.
Reply:get her pampers swaddles size newborn and wet wipes she will need lots of these . Also thing like sox's and onsies .. If she is gonna bottle feed get her some baby bottles . Maybe a few bibs . On clothing stick to yellows whites n greens till you know boy or girl ....
Reply:There are many things you can get. Diapers, wipes, bottles, burp cloths (you can NEVER have too many of those), towels, blankets, and socks are a good start. Also, if you planned on getting the babies clothes, don't buy just newborn stuff because everybody buys the babies newborn stuff. At my nieces baby shower I have her one newborn outfit and plenty of 3-6 month, 6-9 month, etc.

Good luck!! Such a sweet thing for you to do!
Reply:Buy diapers and wipes, every baby needs them no matter gender. Also, resale stores sell very nice baby things for alot less money and you could get bassinets to fill with clothing and blankets.
Reply:I would like to praise your generosity to your friend and her coming. twins.Since you intend to help her I suggest you ask her about her needs and particular brands she prefer. You must be very practical in buying your gifts. Since you have no idea on what is useful for her and you think walmart is the best place to buy ,gift certificate will do,I think she will be very happy to receive shopping money for her to buy things she needs for her baby before her due date on September.

GOD BLESS!
