boy %26amp; girl twins

theme: winnie the pooh

any unique ideas for a gift basket?

Baby shower gift ideas?
WHEN I HAD MY BABY SHOWER A FRIEND OF MINE INCLUDED A GIFT FOR ME ALONG WITH THE BABY'S. IT WAS GIFT BASKET OF LOTION AND MASSAGE OILS. I THOUGHT THAT THIS WAS SO NICE BECAUSE BEING PREGNANT IS A DIFFICULT JOB.`
Reply:gift baskets, with 2 of eveything, baby powder, sampoo, lotion, burp clothes, diapers, blue booties and pink ones.. white onies.. photo book for mom for babies first PICTURES... cute pic frames ...
Reply:power rangers
Reply:I make custom diaper cakes....and have done several Winnie the Pooh cakes (classic and Disney) for both singles and twins!!

If I were to do this diaper cake I would put sets of things on there for both babies.....

If it sounds like something you like...check out the site. I do CUSTOM work and can also include custom onesies, blankets, caps embroidered with babies' names!!
Reply:A baby shower gift that I give is a first aid kit for the baby. I buy a plastic tote and fill it with gas relief drops, infant Tylenol, Motrin, nasal aspirator, nail clippers, etc. I find most people don't have these things on hand and it will save them a trip to the store while they have a sick baby. pedialyte singles are good to through in also. Just anything baby might need. I've also put the poison control stickers on the outside of the box. you can call poison control and they'll send them to you. I know it is not Winnie the Pooh, but when she needs it, it will be very appreciated. All this stuff really costs money. I hope this helps and remember any gift is thoughtful.
Reply:If the baby is going to be bottle fed they have soothie bottles with Winnie the pooh on them. and some Winnie the pooh and piglet and tigger toys with some diapers with them on them. maybe a Winnie the pooh card too? just go to the store and look for a ton of cute Winnie the pooh stuff and make it cute in a basket =]
Reply:I'd go to "Build-A-Bear" and get 2 custom Pooh's with a pink/blue shirt and maybe their names if you know them.

I'd also pick different Pooh outfits for each one for the basket. There's a baby book of Pooh that you can also stick in there. It just depends on your budget.
Reply:i would look for the old pooh before he had a hat and about gift baskets i think some bubble bath for mom is always a good idea. it gives her something to relax in and with twins she going to need it.
Reply:babby bottles and baby blankets and pacifiers.
Reply:Target and Sears both carry a bunch of winnie the pooh stuff for babies --- toys, decorations, clothes, you name it.

However, I would look into a scrapbook store. Buy a WtP themed albumn, some pretty papers, some stickers and stuff. They all come themed in Winnie.
Reply:My brother and sister in law just had twins on Valentine's day. I gave to the baby's each a soft cuddle toy that rattles, a onesie and a pajama that fit up to 6 months, and 2 gift sets of baby lotions, cremes and bath stuff. I also gave 2 packs of newborn size diapers and for mom 2 bottles of Tylenol and 2 packs of kotex. She appreciated the kotex and Tylenol more than anything else because not everyone thinks of the moms needs when buying for a baby shower.
Reply:Don't even try to conjure up something. Unless they tell you something specific to get, a gift certificate from mom's favorite baby store is the way to go. When I was pregnant, I really didn't want anyone picking out things for my child. I ended up having things that didn't go with the room decor and clothing that I wasn't pleased with. I can start a small baby store with the unused baby gifts in my daughter's closet.
Reply:baby wipes, onsies, and pampers( babies will grow into them if they,re a little large at first) cant go wrong with these
Reply:Make a baby bouquet. Use socks, bibs, onesies, hats...etc. Take the baby items and roll them tightly and secure to a flower stem (minus the flower) with a rubber band. They should look like little flower buds. Then get artificial flowers that are the same color scheme and add them into the bouquet. Wrap the stems with colored ribbon and tie off with a bow.
Reply:I just had a baby 3 months ago. The best thing that I can say is either diapers and lotions, baby washes. Baby socks and gift cards........you can never go wrong with those. I sure They will love whatever you get. Oh and p.j's with feet in them are awesome!
Reply:Fill infant bath tub w/ baby wash, lotions, powders, shampoos, ointments, and to go along w. the theme, you could throw in some Pooh washclothes, hooded bath towels and even some pooh pajamas...and for the parents...dinner or theater gift certificates...for when they need a night out alone
Reply:diapers ,diapers ,diapers. formula ,wipes, sock rattles , coffee for the sleep deprived parents.
Reply:Newborn diapers. Parents are gonna get enough stuff with 'themed' crap, give them something useful.
Reply:How about making a twins diaper cake? Here's a cute one, and you could easily use Pooh decorations.

I think a diaper cake is a great alternative to a gift basket, but for the Pooh theme, how about putting two stuffed Pooh characters (Piglet is pink, and Eeyore is blue) hugging the basket? Just use a thin rubber band to hold them on. Then make everything in the basket one pink and one blue.

Good luck!
Reply:they will have plenty of newborn stuff. think more for the first year. larger size clothes (3-6, 6-9 months, 12 months), larger size diapers, etc. it will be greatly appreciated as the kids start outgrowing their newborn stuff rapidly.
Reply:How about making a diaper cake? I am sure they would be happy to get the diapers!
Reply:I would include Baby Face Cloths, Baby Soap, Baby Socks, Baby Hair Brushes, Nail Clippers, Q-Tips, Baby Bottles (Big %26amp; Small), Baby Bibs, Receiving Blankets come in Handy, Bath Tub Thermometer, Baby's First Album's, A Disposable Camera for Baby Pics, Stuff Winnie the Pooh's, Tigger, Picture Frames, Sleepers, Baby Slippers, Baby Hair Clips, Baby Brush Cleaner, Baby Powder, Diaper Coupons or a Bag of Diapers %26amp; Cute Sleepers.

Halloween is coming maybe you can grab Winnie The Pooh Character costumes for next years Halloween. Depending on when the twins arrive.

Anything That Brand New Parents can use from now until the babies are up to 1 years old. Anything Helps
Reply:buy them some clothes and diapers
Reply:Go with what is PRACTICAL.

If you purchase clothes, purchase clothing 6 months, 12 months, 18 months. Do NOT purchase newborn clothes. Everyone does that and the poor kid is naked after the first 12 weeks!!!

Purchase diapers, wipes, diaper rash cream, bottles (if they are bottle feeding), bottle warmer, potty training toilets, etc.

Basically, stuff that is more than just "cute" and is more something that the mommy will actually use and need. My favorite gifts were the clothing size 12 months, wipes, diapers, and gift certificates. These were all practical things that I really needed!
