Monogramming a gift for a boyfriend :)?

My boyfrienda and I have been together for about a year and with Christmas coming up I was wtryingto figure out a thoughtful gift that he would actually use. I've already done picture frames and gift baskets so I decided on making one of those no sew fleece blankets for him with the fleece being in the print of his favorite football team. I decided to make it even more memorable I wanted to take the underside to someone and have it monogrammed with something... I just dont know what to say though!! And I'm a broke college student so it can't have more thana few words... I know I want it to say my name and his name... Maybe a heart or a date or something as well?? Can they monogram hearts? What do ya'll think I should get put- I know its personal, but I'd appreciiate ideas? Also, where is the cheapest place I could get it done- would Walmart maybe do it? Thanks! %26lt;3

How about X-mas 2006 and your names under it? I don't know whether or not Wal-mart does monograms.
Reply:Some of the shops that sell sports clothing will do monogramming. Check with them. Also, check with your local fabric store. Most of the people that work in those places do a lot of sewing themselves. If they don't have one of those machines, they probably know someone who does and can monogram for you.

Reply:date is good, both you intials are good. maybe symbol of what yo did on first day, movie theme, etc. hearts for a guy dont think i would. walmart here in michigan doesnt do monograming. good luck
