Any ideas for a bridesmaid gift...?
I gave both of my bridesmaids a digital photo frame and uploaded pics of us growing up together in them. They loved it! Now they can have something from the wedding to remember it, and also put their own pics in it for the future :)
Reply:Here's what I did: I gave each girl a canvas tote bag with her initials on it. (I just bought sparkly patches from a local craft store and put them on myself. Much cheaper than having them embroidered, plus they looked really nice.) Then I filled the bags with different things I thought they would like. Nice body lotions, picture frames, note pads, candles, all kinds of little things. I also made them some jewelry, but of course you don't have to do that.

I know that's sort of like a gift basket, but the bags are more usable than a basket, and you can put different things in each one to make it more personal.

My bridesmaids loved them. Hope this helps!
Reply:I saw one lady on here giving her bridesmaid's pajamas. I thought that was a really cute idea.
Reply:I was given a really nice bracelet once and I really loved it. Also, I collect teddy bears and when I stood up for my sister she bought me a really nice teddy bear and It has on a dress like mine. I loved it!!
Reply:My bridesmaids and I went for a night on the town...I bought them dinner, we went to a movie, and then went to the bars (they paid for their own alcohol at the bars though, that would be expensive!). For my Maid of Honor we went to a baseball game, just the two of us (we're big baseball fans) so that was nice.
Reply:I found this website that you can send them some of the fabric that their dresses are being madeout of and she made personalized teddy bears.

Reply:Get individual gifts based on their personalities. Blanket gifts are OK but don't show alot of effort on your part....and they have certainly been busting their butts for you.

The best bridesmaid gift I ever got was a stack of really good paper. I'm an artist and I know from experience the whole thing probably cost about $15 but it was really awesome because it showed the bride had been thinking about ME and not just pulling items from a list in a wedding mag.
Reply:sorry, this is about gift baskets, but, they are unique!!! I am going to a caterer and getting gourmet baskets done for my girls. One will be gourmet chocolates for the chocolate lover, one will be gourmet coffee for the one who loves coffee, and the third one will be gourmet mixes like scones and muffins because she loves to bake. These are definitely not cheap items either, and each one is catered to their liking! I hope that you like this idea, even though they are baskets.
Reply:Try something different for each of them, they all have different personalities so get them each something different. A nice bridesmaid card, a bridesmaid candle and maybe something different like make up a nice photo book of the two of you growing up (sister), in school or work (best friend), hanging out at different places. Something sentimental for them to always remember you by and have it engraved. Just my suggestion.
