Christmas Gift for a girl?

i want to get/make a gift for a girl I like in my class. We talk a lot but I still don't know much about her to know what to get her. I was thinking a gift basket but I dont know how to make one or what to put in it. Umm I dont want to make it obvious that I like her because I'm not ready to tell her yet. I still want to learn more abuot her and have her learn more about me before I make a move that might turn out awkward and ruin the friendship. Also I don't know if she has a boyfriend yet. Any suggestions on what I can give her. No: Money/gift cards... Something thoughtful and creative. 60 bucks max.

Burn a CD with songs you think she would enjoy. It shows you care about what she likes and she would appreciate the effort and thoughtfulness.

Get her 2 movie tickets and a dinner for 2. Maybe she'll get the hint.
Reply:A great book, a pendant necklace, a gift before you know her too well may not be the best thing though.



If you talk a lot than think back on those conversations and see if you can remember something that she likes or talks about a lot.

Reply:Why not bring up the holidays, ask if her family does much for Christmas, and at some point also ask what she hopes to get for gifts.



What she says, I would leave that to her family since they probably already know and may plan to get it for her. However...it *should* help give you an idea of what kind of things she's into. So maybe you could take that and find, say, a nice but inexpensive bracelet, pendent, funny socks, a book, or some other item *related* to what she seems to like.



One thing definitely, you don't want to go too overboard with it since you are still in the phase of trying to hint to her your feelings. Too much too soon and some people tend to back away pretty quick, ending any chances. Keep it nice but simple this time around. Too much might end up a bit awkward for you both.

Reply:give her a stuffed bear holding candy. (m%26amp;ms, skittles, etc) candy and cute things.... gets girls every time and can be given to her without her realizing she likes you
Reply:How about a movie basket?As some girls in her age range what kinda chick flick they would like.Then get that DVD and a box of microwave popcorn (take them out of box),a cute girly kinda mug from a dollar store,put in hot cocoa or spiced cider mix(just a couple of packets inside the cup,also one of those big Hershey bars and a pack of red vines.While at the dollar store pick-up a basket that will hold all of this and gift basket cover.If you have enough money left over buy fake mistletoe and red curling ribbon from dollar store,Put it altogether and you have a thoughtful gift that doesn't scream romantic but whispers it ; {} I figured it up to be about $35. max
Reply:a gift basket is too much...flowers-jewelry of any kind are obvious that you have a crush on her...any thing that cost over 20 bucks is too much...so...

something like those really soft blankets that have cool colors or winter decorations

or a manicure set would be good

or learn more about her to find something less generic to buy her
