ok, so my friend's birthday is this week, she's turning 19.

she's going to college in the fall.

i want to make her like a "college survival" gift basket type of thing, but don't really know exactly what to put in it...any ideas?

best will get the 10 pts. thanks.

College survival gift...?
Oh yes, First use a laundry basket for the basket. Add flip flops for shower shoes. A plastic basket with handle for her to put her bathroom supplies into to take them to the showers. Laundry soap. A roll of quarters. Sheets/new comforter set for her bed in the dorm. (Usually a twin) Toiletries items that she uses. High-liters,pencil,pens,paper,folders SCHOOL SUPPLIES!

I hoped this helped.

Good Luck and Bless U both!
Reply:I've had the opportunity to do this twice. Once I just got a book bag. A nice one, back packy kindof thing with wheels.

The other time, things were really tight, but I wanted to do something 'survival' in nature, so, I went to a dollar tree... got a clothes basket, laundry detergent, bleach, dryer sheets, and i forget what all. topped it off with a gift card to a nationwide drugstore chain. (Aspirin, hair color, some food available at any store she went to)
Reply:hi

I think you can give them oil painting from their photo means turn their photo in oil painting it will create nice impression on them.

Capture that special moment.turn it into a masterpiece that will last forever!

i suggest u to look at this site i think it will help u,

A great idea for a personal and unique gift is a handmade painting made from a photo that you send.

Check out this site: http://www.portrait2000.com

They have many samples here http://www.portrait2000.com/samples.htm

The prices are reasonable and the outcome is amazing.
Reply:Let's see...some sort of energy drink. I'm allergic to caffeine, but I know most colleges run on that stuff. There's a gum out now that has caffeine in it too- if you can find that get it. Get a cheap day planner type of thing. Don't spend too much on it because it's mostly a gag gift- hardly anyone uses them. Sticky notes save lives. Highlighters are good. Ramen noodles and canned soup. Spoons and forks. Laundry detergent and/or dish soap.
