I cannot figure out what to get my mom and stepdad! Whenever they want something, they go out and buy it themselves. They have lots of stuff, too much actually. There's nothing I can think of that they need. It seems like I do gift baskets a lot for them with coffe and mugs and stuff like that but I need a different idea this year. I don't really have a lot of time to make something time consuming. Gift cards are kinda impersonal. I don't really want to spend more than $30 each. Any ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! 10 pts to best idea. Thanks. :)
Gift ideas PLEASE!!!?
Well, if you want to spend $30 each, that's $60.00. That's quite a good deal of money to spend on both of them.
You could get them another gift basket, but make it about a nice, quiet, romantic evening together. Buy them a pair of matching champagne glasses, a romantic comedy on DVD, some good cheese and crackers (brie cheese or similar), a small picnic blanket that they can spread on the floor in the living room in front of the TV, and have an adult buy a nice bottle of champagne that you can add to the basket. Make a card to go along with it explaining that you’re going to spend the night at your friend’s house some Friday or Saturday night coming up and that part of your gift to them is a peaceful night alone.
They’ll love it.
Merry Christmas!
Reply:www.kimbelina.com - meaningful and beautiful gifts. Unique blankets and robes that have a spiritual meaning. Seriously, check it out.
Reply:My step-dad is the hardest person in the world to buy for. he doesn't need anything and when you ask him what he wants he says more gifts for his grandchildren.
But this year i came up with a great idea. I am going to make him a basket of all of his favorite things. See he doesn't have any teeth so he can't eat everything.
I got him:
olives, crackers, Cracker barrel cheese, French onion dip, pepperoni, Wise potato chips, 3 musketeers king size candy bar, mounds king size candy bar, and cello's chocolate covered cherries, a can of pork and beans, and a six pack of soda.
I think he is going to love it. Maybe you should try it out. Making a gift basket is easy and it's a seriously personal gift because you only put things the person loves in it.
Reply:what about a nice photo protart with you and your family in it like scrap booking?
Reply:ummm you can get your mom a hairbrush set or a beauty set if she likes to look pretty all the time
and you can get your step-dad a collectible item like to give you a example a set of coca cola stuff in a basket
or just fill them both a stocking with little nicknaks in them like candles and stuff
