Christmas Gift for my Boyfriend's parents.?

I've been dating my boyfriend for well over a year now and I'm not really sure what to get his parents for Christmas. I've been thinking about a gift basket of some sort, but I'm not sure what i should put in it. Any ideas would be great.

Christmas Gift for my Boyfriend's parents.?
well i gave them a box of high quality chocolates when i was in situation like yours. it's not too personal but yet sweet and lovely. some other suggestions:

* a bottle of wine;

* some bath materials like soaps, bath salt etc;

* nice towels;

* scented candles;

* framed picture of you and your boyfriend;

* souvenirs like snow globes, picture frames etc;

* home cooked christmas cookies;

or you can get all of this and make a gift basket :)
Reply:If you go to Harry and David at the mall, you can buy their baskets or get great idea's to make your own.
Reply:Parents? I think a foodie gift basket might be appropriate. Every one loves gourmet food. I did the same thing this year.Sending my staff and relatives good gift packs and baskets filled with chocalates, cookies, cheese and coffee. Perhaps I can provide you with a resource I was referred to a couple days back here at yahoo.
Reply:I'm baking my bf's parents and his siblings brownies %26amp; cookies. They always enjoy that. I put them in cute bags or boxes. One for each family. Last year my bf gave my family a gift basket with a blockbuster giftcard, popcorn, "movie candy", Coke glasses, and a blanket. They loved it! Good luck!
Reply:Some grand children! They would love that very much
Reply:Try a ornament for the tree

A candle set

A plant

A nice hot coco set

just nothing to personal

Reply:I know of a great gift basket website called www.niagaragiftbaskets.ca - they have a lot of festive baskets in stock.
Reply:Give his mom a Bath and Body Works gift basket. If your feeling generous, add a little gift card.

For His Dad:

Give him a gift basket full of sports stuff like golf, football, baseball, and basketball.

As for your boyfriend, a custom snow globe. You can ask around and see if there are shops that can insert custom photos. A photo in particular in the snow globe can include you 2 holding hands or something like that. Then, for the icing on the cake. Buy him a piece of jewelry like a ring or watch.
Reply:If it were me, I would give a gift certificate to their favorite restraunt. However, if a gift basket is the way you are going, make a themed basket. Perhaps pack it full of stuff to make ice cream sundaes (buy all those cool toppings from the grocery store, stuff 2 new bowls and some spoons in there) and wahlahh. Or, make a movie themed basket with microwave popcorn, candy, drinks, and a new DVD or gift certificate for free movie rentals or NetFlix. Who doesn't like Ice Cream or like to sit down and watch some good movies once in a while?!!
Reply:Harry and David have great baskets and filled with other things than fruit...

A great selection of olive oils or salsa %26amp; chips

or how about A nice center piece or bowl from crate and barrel
Reply:You can order from a catalog and have fruit and cheese put in it, or with jars filled with preserves or decorative olives.

Or you can get them some stuff for their dining room/kitchen, like pretty gravy boats, butter warmers, and other non-essential things that people usually don't have. Crate%26amp;Barrel is pretty good. Harry %26amp; David does great gift baskets.
