I'm starting a gift basket business...
does anyone know where I could find high quality boxes (thick,non-colapsable, almost like hat boxes) and nice baskets of a consistent design?

Check your local library for directories of wholesalers and manufacturers. Get your business license and Tax ID before making the calls to give yourself credibility. Ask for catalogs and samples and volume pricing as well as financing terms and a meeting with a sales rep in your area.
