Hello, I need to buy crackers to put in a gift basket for an engagment party, what kinds are the best? Do you have other suggestions for things to put in gift baskets? Thank you : )
Best brand and type of crackers?
I'm not 100% sure what the name is called but all I can say is that it was bought at Costco.
Reply:ritz, they are yummy
Reply:Keebler "Sociables" crackers would be nice. Also any brand of seasoned crackers work well - such as vegetable, herb, or sesame flavors. Other items you could include would be candy/chocolates, flavored teas, specialty coffees (include 2 mugs for another special touch!), various cheeses, jams, jellies, and cookies or muffins.
Reply:If you're putting them in a gift basket, then I'd stay away from crackers that everyone has in their pantry, no matter how good Ritz and Townhouse crackers are. There are these amazing Rosemary-thyme crackers that I had on the airplane (I know that doesn't help) But some wine cellars and specialty food stores also carry them (would go great with a small cheese wheel and maybe even a bottle of wine) There are also recipe's for making your own crackers (which I wouldn't reccomend this time if you've never done it before, but start working something up now and you'll have a trick up your sleeve for next time!)
Reply:Carr's are the biggest seller.
Everyone loves them.
get the assorted pack( has all the flavors),
We make tons of gift baskets at our store.
For an engagement we usually put a nice box of chocolate, a bottle of bubbly( or wine).
I'm assuming your putting cheese in there to go with the crackers?
If that's the case make sure the basket is for that day or it must be refrigerated( unless your putting a shelf stable cheese( not recommended).
A nice box of English Breakfast Tea or Earl Gray.
There will be hay in the basket( assumption)?
If so, after the basket is made we fill in the empty spaces with white Jordon Almonds( or colored if you prefer).
You can see some of them on our site

Reply:Carr's Water Crackers.
Really, REALLY good.
Reply:I also love Carr's Water Table Crackers, but have you tried Vita Crackers? They are wonderful.
