This year I have lots of familys to buy for. I have decided that each family could get a gift basket. I also want to give some to individual people. I need lots of theme ideas for what to put in the baskets, the more different and unique the better. I am willing to cook and make things but I don't want them all to be filled with only food. I am also on a kind of small budget because I need to buy for so many people. Thanks for your help!

Reply:Movie baskets (popcorn, candy and maybe a dvd or movie tickets).
Spa baskets (bath soaps, lotions and a bath sponge)
Cookie basket (assorted christmas cookies with a recepie for a cookie and a cookie cutter)
Pasta basket ( fill it with pastas and sauces)
Glam basket (Manicure or pedicure fill it with various polish, files and lotion, pumice stone)
Reply:Wine, and wine glasses filled with christmas chocolates.
Reply:Food is a great idea (things like biscuits in Christmas tree shapes, etc) but you can easily pick up cheap jewellery and other things. Stationery is also a good thing to give, nice pens, note paper, address books and things like that. You could also colour theme the baskets, like yellow for one family, green for another. Hope this helps!
Reply:How about a Christmas theme, with ornaments, all different ones, reasonably priced, with cookies, and candy, and accessories like cheese spreaders, pot holders all in the Christmas theme! I would love receiving a gift basket like this!!!!
Reply:Mamabee's answers are excellent! I would also add sports related baskets--for the golfer (golf balls, wooden tees, t-shirt with a golf-related slogan, glove, "I love golf" key chain, etc.) With minor modifications, you could do the same for the soccer, baseball, basket or football fanatic.
How about a (healthy) snack basket or a chocolate indulgence basket?
Literary or writing-themed baskets are good, too.
Coffees and mug set with biscotti or coffee cakes--or a similar collection for a tea basket.
Hot cocoa mixes with holiday mugs, marshmallows and mittens might work for you, too.
Reply:Check out this website for some ideas.
Reply:If you want to get something unique you should have a look at http://www.design-yer-own.com They have over 200 different items that you can put your own design on (you upload a photo or image file) and their prices are great - I found their website about 6 months ago looking for something special for the Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles of my New Born Son - I gave them all a Cherrywood Framed Ceramic Tile With a Picture of My New Family on and when they arrived the quality was Amazing and the Family Loved them. They also do T-Shirts, Watches, Mugs etc so theres plenty to choose from. Design-Yer-Own.com have always delivered within 10 days on all of my orders (Yes, I've used them quite alot since I found them). The first order I made was at my door in six days, considering they ship from Hong Kong I think that is Amazing.
I'm going to stop going on now as I sound like an advert for Design Yer Own but I really think a Unique %26amp; Personal Gift is the way to go. I hope this helps in your decision.
Reply:" Yankee Candles" do some small jar candles in lovely scents for Christmas, or you could include a burner and some little wax "tartlets" My wife did this last year, everyone loved the candles, and came back to ask her where she bought them from, as they wanted to buy some more.
