Gift Basket (extra income or silly idea)?????

I enjoy making gift baskets and I was considering making flyers and posting them throughout chicago (where I live). I would like to have a couple premade for holidays. But I mostly would like to make them at the customers request with thier opinions on how they would like it. Do you think it would work as something extra to do?

It seems that the gift basket business has seen it's day come and go. Not to discourage you, I will give you a few websites where you may make a more informed objective decision.



Be aware that certain countries have such a low cost of materials and labor, that it makes it difficult to be competitive.

Reply:It can be a good thing but you have to be careful!



If they look nice, you can get a peddler's license, they are a good value, they have a contact number for more orders/compaints/returns, you can get a small business shots/hair salons to sell them on consignement, etc.



I wouldn't make too many. I would make a few, take some pictures and list whats included. Then ask around for some opinions on price, quality, suggestions
