most of the time you have to consult a lawyer to know exactly all the licenses you need for your business. but most likely you'll need a federal tax id(you can just use your social security number but most people prefer not to) and a state tax id so you can collect sales tax on items sold in your state(even if you are an online store if someone buys an item and so happens to live in the same state you still have to collect taxes)
