I always prefer a bottle of nice wine, plus some cheeses, and some nice fruit (like grapes, peaches, cherries - seasonal).
It's classy and fits both the wife and boss.
Or, you can go to ProFlowers and just get one of those pre-made wine/fruit baskets with specialty fruit. Always unique.
